Printing on our wide form Polyimide tape will produce seamless, glossy prints with excellent adhesion. A single sheet of tape when compared to small strips of Kapton will allow you to print with a lower print bed temperature dramatically improving print accuracy and quality by reducing warping. A seamless print surface also allows for smaller layer heights and will eliminate failed prints do to the nozzle catching on seams. Simply stretch the Polyimide tape across your print bed while smoothing onto the surface with your thumb. Trim edges by running a razor along each edge to produce a clean and long lasting print surface.
This 220mm X 20m Polyimide Tape is designed for the RepRap Mendel, Prusa, and Ultimaker though any printer with a similar build envelope will benefit from this tape.
